Witnessing the suffering of abandoned and injured cows, Maharaj Ji started this trust with a mission to provide shelter, food, medical care and love to every cow in need.
His vision continues to guide us in every step we take toward a better and compassionate world.

Since the establishment of Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, countless cows rescued from slaughterhouses by devoted Gau Bhakts, along with injured, helpless, abandoned, and drought-affected cattle, have been provided shelter, food, protection, and care.
Through its network of Go-Sevashrams and Ved-Lakshana Go-Gram Seva Samitis established and operated across Western Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab, Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda has continued its mission of protecting and serving Gauvansh.
The journey began in 1993 with just 24 cattle, including 8 Gomatas. Over the years, the number of cattle receiving care grew significantly:
1993: 24 cattle, including 8 Gomatas
1999: 90,000 cattle
2001: 1,76,000 cattle
2002: 2,15,000 cattle
2003: 2,84,000 cattle
2004: Following abundant rainfall and improved agricultural conditions, 1,54,000 healthy, milk-producing and agriculture-useful cattle were distributed free of cost among Gopalak farmers. The remaining 1,30,000 cattle continued to receive care in Gaushalas.
2005: A further 33,000 healthy cattle were distributed free of cost among Gopalak farmers. Subsequently, 97,000 elderly, sick, disabled, injured, weak, and dependent cattle remained under care.
2009: 72,000 cattle
2010: 2,00,000 cattle
2011: 1,25,000 cattle
2012: 1,22,000 cattle
2013: 1,27,000 cattle
2015: 1,24,000 cattle
2016: 1,27,000 cattle
2017: 1,22,000 cattle
The Mission Today β 2026
In 2026, approximately 73,500 cattle are under the direct care and management of Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda.
In addition, nearly 84,000 cattle are being cared for in various Go-Sevashrams operated with the support of Shri Godham Pathmedaβs dedicated workers and the inspiration of revered saints.
Together, more than 1,57,000 helpless, abandoned, and Ved-Lakshana cattle are receiving shelter, nourishment, protection, and compassionate care through Gaushalas and Ved-Lakshana Go-Gram Seva Samitis operating with the guidance and support of Shri Godham Pathmeda.
Beyond its own network, Shri Godham Pathmeda has also inspired the formation of the Rajasthan Goseva Samiti. Through this initiative, continuous efforts have been made to provide support, guidance, protection, assistance, and encouragement to hundreds of Gaushalas and lakhs of Gopalak farmers across Rajasthan, whenever and wherever required.
From 24 cattle in 1993 to more than 1,57,000 today β this is a journey built on compassion, commitment, and an unwavering resolve to protect and serve Gau Mata.

First Goshala Established Through the Inspiration of Gaurishi Swamiji
First Goshala Established at Pathmeda
Under the divine guidance and presence of Param Pujya Gaurishi Swami Shri Dattasharananandji Maharajshri, the first Goshala was established in Pathmeda village, Sanchore Tehsil, Rajasthan.
The journey began with just 100 abandoned Gomatas. What started as a small beginning became the seed of a mission that has now grown into a vast movement for the protection and service of Gau Mata.

Expansion to Ten New Goshalas
Ten New Goshalas Across the Pathmeda Region
Shri Bharatmata, Shri Bhrigurishi, Shri Dattatreya, Shri Dhanvantari, Shri Kamadhenu, Shri Murlidhar, Shri Sanatan, and Shri Surabhi β ten Goshalas were established and expanded within a single year.
Pathmeda transformed from a small Goshala into a thriving sacred pilgrimage centre dedicated to the protection and service of Gau Mata.

Seva Begins at Nandgaon
SevΔ Begins at Shree Manorma Golok Teerth, Nandgaon
The Shri Gopal Govardhan Gaushala Samiti was established in Nandgaon, Sirohi district. Named after the sacred land associated with the divine pastimes of Shri Krishna, this centre would eventually become Pathmedaβs second-largest centre for the service and protection of Gau Mata.

Reaching the Milestone of Serving 1 Lakh Gomatas

Within just 20 years of its establishment, Pathmeda achieved the remarkable milestone of serving 1 lakh Gomatas. Pathmeda received international recognition as the worldβs largest Goshala.

Expansion to Eight Major Goshalas at Nandgaon
8 Major New Goshalas at Nandgaon
Eight new Goshalas were established at Nandgaon in a single year β Shri Bharatmata, Shri Bhrigurishi, Shri Dattatreya, Shri Dhanvantari, Shri Kamadhenu, Shri Murlidhar, Shri Surabhi, and Shri Guru Dattatreya.
With this expansion, Pathmedaβs second-largest cluster was fully established, strengthening its growing network dedicated to the protection and service of Gau Mata.

Seva Expands to Uttarakhand & Beyond

In Uttarakhand, Shri Ansuya Mata Goshala was established in 2021, followed by Kotdwar Goshala in 2024. In Madhya Pradesh, Shri Kamdhenu Gau-Abhyaranya Salaria was established in 2022, while Shri Vedlakshana Gauseva & Panchgavya Research Institute was established in Gandhinagar in 2023.
With its growing presence across multiple states, Pathmeda has evolved into a national institution dedicated to the protection, service, and welfare of Gau Mata.

Pathmedaβs mission goes beyond Gau Seva β encompassing a Gurukul School, Sanskrit College, Ayurvedic Medicine Research Centre, Shri Govardhan-Nathji Temple, Go-Dhanvantari Hospital, and structured Baada Seva.
Pathmeda has now evolved into a complete SanΔtan Teerth-Sansthan, bringing together Gau Seva, education, Sanskrit, Ayurveda, healthcare, temple worship, and community service under one divine vision.
